In my youth, I resented the two years I spent in Singapore’s military as a firefighter, seeing it as a "waste." Only later did I realize the profound impact it had on shaping my resilience and discipline, values that guide me through life's challenges today. Serving as a firefighting commander taught me leadership, service, and sacrifice, lessons I now pass on to others. In retrospect, I see how those two years laid the foundation for my career and personal growth.
